Dreamy Vanilla Rose Bath Bombs
I loveeeee a long soak in the tub. I love it so much I find myself adding hot water multiple times just so I can stay in a little bit longer.
Bath bombs make a soak even more dreamy - but they can be filled with fragrance and toxic ingredients! I’ve started making my own and this recipe turns out perfect each time! I can’t wait to share it with you.
This recipe makes 6 bombs which gives you enough to share with your girlfriends just in time for Galentine’s day!
RECIPE (makes 6)
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups baking soda
1 1/4 cups citric acid
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 Tablespoon vanilla
2 drops Rose essential oil
2 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
10 drops Lavender essential oil
dried flowers (I added rose, lavender and chamomile)
Directions:
Combine baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch and carrier oil to large mixing bowl, mix until ingredients are a formable consistency.
Add dried flowers, vanilla and essential oils - mix.
Use mold to scoop mixture into ball form and squeeze sides hard together to pack the bomb.
Place formed bombs onto baking sheet, plate or parchment paper to dry.
Allow to dry / harden for 24 hours.
Store in an air tight container.
Enjoy!
